Since 2011, Catalyst Kitchens has united nonprofit culinary training programs into a peer-led community, uplifting members through food and opportunity. Since 2016, the Jacques Pépin Foundation has partnered with CK, providing grants, infrastructure, and collaboration. At the National Summit, JPF led sessions, celebrated the 90/90 Gala, and reaffirmed partnership: investing in dignity, equity, hope, and communities nationwide.

This year we were pleased to offer complimentary member thank you gifts highlighting important work of grantee programs. JPF Sous Chef and Chef de Cuisine Members could choose the Appetite for Change Cookbook with soul food classics, healthy, affordable recipes and stories, or the Cookie and Granola Combo from Together We Bake’s employment social enterprise in Alexandria, VA.

It is our great pleasure to announce that the JPF has selected two graduates of JPF-supported culinary training programs to receive a 2025 JPF Memorial Grant of $5,000 each to continue their culinary journeys. Congratulations to the winners and their respective programs.
