The JPF Membership program is a cornerstone of the vision and mission of the Jacques Pépin Foundation
Every JPF Member directly supports the JPF’s partnerships with culinary education training programs nationwide. Since its inception, our community has grown by 63% to address social issues and create a cycle of support to empower individuals and communities.
JPF Members receive weekly members-only emails highlighting chefs and recipes and gain full access to hundreds of educational cooking videos in the JPF Video Recipe Book, Cook with Jacques Pépin & Friends. The member platform offers unlimited access to watch, read, and print from our ever-growing collection of recipes. It helps every JPF Member learn (or expand upon!) their own culinary techniques right in their home kitchens.
For decades, Jacques has brought recipes and culinary techniques to home cooks via video while teaching essential skills to aspiring professionals in academic settings. Culinary skills, and the process of learning these skills, increases self-confidence, improves health outcomes, and creates employment and career opportunities.

- What is the JPF Membership Program?
JPF Memberships offer the unique opportunity to directly support the Mission and work of the Foundation. - What is the difference between donating to the JPF and becoming a JPF Member?
Both options directly help support the Foundation’s partnerships with community-based culinary training programs nationwide. However, a JPF Membership additionally provides a donor with full access to hundreds of cooking videos in the Video Recipe Book – a digital platform that merges celebrity table cookbook with a video subscription service. Each video is searchable, downloadable, and can be printed, providing hours of content that gives Members the chance to expand their own culinary techniques while supporting culinary education of others. It is a win-win!
- What are the differences between each of the JPF Membership levels?
Every JPF Membership level receives full access to the Video Recipe Book and a weekly Member email that highlights chefs or recipes in the Video Recipe Book. Membership donation levels are offered annually, quarterly, or monthly. Premium level JPF Memberships receive additional benefits including art posters, signed books, personalized items, early access to ticketed events and more. More on membership levels here.
- Do I need to become a JPF Member to support the Foundation?
A JPF Membership is the best way to support the JPF’s mission because JPF Members not only make a tax deductible donation contribution to the Foundation, but they also personally participate in the JPF’s work to teach culinary skills through various channels to many communities. If you would like to make a non-Membership donation, please visit our Donation page.
- How do JPF Members stay in the know about JPF events, initiatives, and work?
All JPF Members are automatically added to our email distribution list. JPF Members receive the twice-monthly newsletter and the weekly Member emails. Monthly newsletters provide general information about Foundation work, initiatives, and upcoming events. Weekly Member emails highlight chefs or recipes, provide direct links to those highlighted features in the Video Recipe Book and offer advance word on ticketing or other member-benefits.
