My Mother’s Favorites
Jacques’ homey menu reminds him of his youth in France. These dishes are made lighter than the traditional versions beginning with his Garlic Soup. A classic Veal Roast with Artichokes, cooked in a Dutch oven, is the main course. A light Almond Cake with Mango Coulis is the make-ahead dessert.
