On April 13, 2023, The Lighthouse in New York City played host to an unforgettable event celebrating the important work of the JPF. The fresh new venue, aglow in the Manhattan sunset, accommodated a larger audience of long-time supporters and new JPF Members gathered together in support of our mission to improve lives through culinary training.

Coffee and Conversation with the Executive Director

Jacques Pépin Foundation 6th Anniversary Celebration Scheduled for April 13, 2023

We have a stellar line-up of culinary talent preparing a sensational gala dinner, including Maneet Chauhan, Ming Tsai, Esther Choi, Alon Shaya, Ayesha Nurdjaja, and a festive dessert reception with Natasha Pickowicz and Caroline Schiff.

Jacques Visits Community Servings in Jamaica Plain, MA

December 1, 2022

Jacques joined students, staff, and alumni at JPF grantee Community Servings in Jamaica Plain, MA in early December to share his expertise with a hands-on cooking lesson. The class focused on vegetable techniques, classic French sauces, and concluded with a book signing of The Apprentice.

Volume 4 of “Cook with Jacques Pépin & Friends” launched on Giving Tuesday

The JPF released “Cook with Jacques Pépin & Friends: Volume 4” on Giving Tuesday (November 29, 2022). What started as a pandemic pivot to enrich lives and strengthen communities through culinary education has grown into a recurring series. This Video Recipe Book is available to all members of the JPF and membership starts at just $40 per year.

Our Next Event

10th Anniversary Julia Child Award Dinner

This is the fourth event in a cross-country series taking place throughout 2024 and celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Julia Child Award in past recipients’ hometowns. The series will raise critical funds for the Smithsonian Food History Project at the National Museum of American History. Menu Curated by Chefs Renée Touponce, Kinsler Josaime, and Jacques Torres.
