April is coming to an end, but we are still basking in the glow of our 9th Anniversary Celebration and the meaningful, delicious evening with our JPF community on April 9th. Because people came together around our mission, more individuals will have opportunities to build skills, prepare for employment, and explore their potential in the kitchen and beyond.
The food and drinks were sublime, the company was convivial, and the awareness of a greater purpose imbued each moment with meaning. With an inspirational presentation from Maddrey Goode, Executive Director of New England Center for Culinary Arts and Technology (NECAT), and a moving speech about mentorship from longtime friend of the JPF Andrew Zimmern, the program was a highlight of the night.
You’ll see Jacques and a whole host of familiar faces in the photos below, but this is so much more than just a photo gallery of a party packed with celebrity chefs. The joy and hope seen on each face in the crowd, and the shared belief in the power of culinary education, makes it a meaningful portrait of a community on a mission.
We are so thankful to the guests, chefs, partners, and everyone who made the JPF’s 9th Anniversary Celebration a success. The photos of the event can be seen in the gallery below, and information about the programs the event supports can be found in the program section of our website.
