Tula Gogolak

Director of Philanthropy

Tula brings decades of experience in philanthropy, with roles at organizations including the American Red Cross, Easterseals, and Meals on Wheels. Her work is guided by a belief that philanthropy is most powerful when it connects people to purpose, by advancing missions that strengthen communities, expand opportunity, and create lasting impact.

At the Jacques Pépin Foundation, Tula focuses on building thoughtful partnerships rooted in trust, stewardship, and shared values. She values a collaborative approach grounded in careful listening and a commitment to helping individuals engage in ways that are meaningful to them and transformative for the communities served.

Tula is actively involved in the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Chicago Chapter, where she serves on the Board and is a past Chapter President. She also serves on AFP’s Global Committee of the Women’s Impact Initiative. Her contributions to the field include published articles in Advancing Philanthropy, reflecting a commitment to ethical practice, professional leadership, and the future of the fundraising profession.

She holds a B.A. in Psychology from DePauw University and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE). Tula works remotely from her home in Chicago and enjoys time with her grown sons, daughters-in-law, and grandchildren.
