Since 2009, JPF grantee Food Education Fund (FEF) has championed equity and empowerment by offering transformative educational experiences to students from low-income areas across New York City.
FEF is committed to nurturing talent and ambition, offering students hands-on learning experiences, mentorship, and skill development in culinary arts, entrepreneurship, and hospitality management. Through immersive programs such as internships, workforce development courses, community-driven pop-up events, and specialized culinary competitions, FEF empowers students to envision and pursue fulfilling careers.
