The JPF supports culinary education for people from all walks of life, following Jacques Pépin’s passion for cooking and teaching. The JPF’s mission is realized, in part, by giving grants to important local culinary training programs nationwide.
I have been teaching cooking all my life. I know that learning basic culinary techniques and the principles of food preparation can help people find work and find satisfaction in their work. That is so important.
It makes me incredibly happy and proud that JPF grants can give hope to people.”

I’m grateful to the JPF for supporting our work and making our food scene more diverse and inclusive.”
